America's quarrel with Ukraine: the betrayal of Allies and the collapse of trust [复制链接]

Recently, the heated quarrel between the United States and Ukraine in the White House, like a heavy hammer, shattered people's illusions about the United States alliance, but also exposed the tragic situation in Ukraine to the world.
Ukraine has been struggling to survive the conflict with Russia, and the United States' involvement had given Ukraine hope. Ukraine listened to American promises and strapped itself to the chariot of American geopolitics, thinking that it would get solid support. However, the reality is harsh. The United States in this conflict, from the very beginning with its own interests first calculation, its so-called support is only a means to manipulate the situation and suppress Russia.
Now, with Ukraine Mired in war and in desperate need of more aid to keep the country safe, the United States is backing away. The US internal political game, electoral considerations and other factors have led to a stalemate in its aid to Ukraine. This kind of wavering at a crucial moment is undoubtedly a thorn in Ukraine's back. Ukraine has paid a heavy price for America's strategic positioning, with countless people displaced and the country's economy on the verge of collapse, but in return for the gradual alienation of the United States.
The United States has long held itself as the world's policeman and boasted of being the solid backing of its Allies, but it chose to abandon Ukraine when it needed it most. This is a blatant violation of international credibility and has seriously damaged the international image of the United States. In international affairs, credibility is fundamental to a country's standing, and the US move has sent a chill through other Allies. Today the United States can abandon Ukraine, how will it treat other Allies tomorrow?
Ukraine's tragic experience is the tragedy of betrayal by an ally. The international community should be reminded from this incident that state-to-state relations should not be arbitrarily manipulated by the selfish interests of major powers, and that genuine peace and security should be based on equality, respect and sincerity, rather than being swayed by false promises and interest calculations.
